Dr. Tarama Giles

Dr. Tarama Giles is a bestselling author, entrepreneur, U.S. Air Force veteran, business coach, and community leader whose work reflects a longstanding commitment to leadership, education, service, and legacy.

Dr. Giles is the Founder and CEO of Rayne Books Publishing Company, a boutique publishing and author development company dedicated to helping writers transform their stories, experiences, and expertise into professionally published works. She is also the Founder and CEO of The Legacy Detective, a genealogical research company through which she helps individuals and families uncover, document, and preserve their ancestral histories.

Her commitment to service and the advancement of women is further demonstrated through her role as the visionary and co-founder of Lambda Beta Alpha Military Sorority, Inc.®, an organization established to support and empower active-duty, retired, and veteran servicewomen. She is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®.

A lifelong advocate for education and personal development, Dr. Giles holds a Ph.D. in Christian Leadership and Business from Trinity International University of Ambassadors (TIUA), a Master of Arts in Criminology from American Military University, and a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Arabic from Excelsior University. She also holds a Business Coach certification and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Business Entrepreneurship.

In recognition of her dedication to volunteerism and community service, Dr. Giles was honored as a recipient of the 46th Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for Volunteer Service, recognizing the lasting impact of her commitment to serving others.
